November 20, 2011, Sunday: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Garden Room, Missouri Botanical Garden

We are excited to have Nature and Garden Photography by Becky Joseph at our November meeting.

“In my eyes, there is nothing more wonderful and awe-inspiring than the most ordinary and typical…. dewdrops on a leaf, sunbursts through a cloud, the shadows cast by the sinking sun.  All very ordinary – all amazing.  Much as life.  Full of ‘everyday wonders’.”

Becky lives near Union, MO and shares her gardens and woodlands with her dogs Angel and Grace.  Her love for God, gardening and photography come through in each photo she takes.  She is a member of Franklin County Master Gardeners, Missouri Nature and Environmental Photographers and owns Restore My Soul Photos, a fine-arts photography business.   Becky enjoys her work as an RN, kayaking and teaching classes on gardening and photography.  Take some time to view Becky’s website and her beautiful photos.

Door prizes, snacks and new members always welcome!

Meeting Highlights: Becky’s slide show was wonderful! In addition to her beautiful photos of birds, flowers, insects and scenery, Becky gave us very useful practical tips on photo taking. She has definitely perfected her craft! Everyone enjoyed her presentation.  Becky was kind enough to give each attendee a handout of her photo tips and a matted print of her work which everyone will treasure! Thanks Becky for a great afternoon that was informative and beautiful!
