October 16, 2011, Sunday: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Garden Room, Missouri Botanical Garden Room

The St. Louis Horticultural Society will host their first fall meeting for the year. Dorie will host this meeting and speak about starting perennials from seed that need cold treatment, a process called stratification. She will share her special method for doing this. Dorie never fails to enlighten, educate, and entertain us. This will be a very informative meeting, hope to see everyone there!

If anyone has any plants needing a new home please bring it to our meeting. I’m sure one of our members will be happy to take it.

As always, door prizes and snacks are welcome.

New members welcome!

Meeting Highlights: Dorie, our speaker, was unable to give her presentation at our meeting due to illness. We hope to have Dorie give her presentation at a later date. It sounds fascinating!

Sandy and Barb hosted the meeting with a Halloween theme. We painted and decorated pumpkins. It was fun! As a group we turned out a nice bunch of creative pumpkins. Check out the photo section to see our spooky spectacular pumpkins!
